Thank you to all of those who have watched the concerts over the weekend. We hope you enjoyed them as much as we enjoyed putting them on.
The concerts are available on the website so you can revisit them or see concerts that you missed. Please spread the word to your music loving friends. The more people who see them the better for all of us. Please also encourage your friends to donate what they feel they can. Without ticket income this year we are relying on donations.
Especially a very big thank you to everyone who donated through the website. It is difficult time for the Arts but with your support we will endeavour to keep growing into the future when our music will be live again and we can all be together.
2021 York Chamber Music Festival
The dates for next year’s festival are 16 - 19 September 2021. I am delighted that Angela Hewitt is coming to play a solo recital to open the festival and will join the Festival Artists on the Saturday evening. Anthony Marwood is also returning to join us which I’m thrilled about. Truely one of the best violinists in the world. So we are looking forward to some great music
again. Details of the programme will be on the website in mid-October.
